Running Postman (Kennedia prostrata) is a vibrant Australian native groundcover featuring striking red flowers. Ideal for native gardens, it thrives in well-drained soil and is low maintenance. While it attracts wildlife, it can struggle in waterlogged conditions and may require space for optimal growth. Occasional trimming may be necessary.

Local Rain Fall & Soil Temperature
May’s rainfall totaled 47.5mm, exceeding the average by 7.5mm. Soil temperature remained at 14 degrees. Since June commenced, 42mm of rain has already fallen, indicating a positive start to winter. The BOM predicts drier, warmer conditions ahead, although there is hope for continued rainfall.

The porch was cleaned using a stiff broom and deck cleaner, followed by the application of two coats of deck oil with a paintbrush. The result was satisfactory, leaving the porch looking well-maintained and refreshed.
